Uganda’s largest protected area is a 5072 km2 expanse formed by Murchison falls national park and the contagious Karuma and Bugungu wildlife reserves. The Nile traverses this wilderness, dividing grasslands roamed by big game on the northern bank from bush and forest inhabited by birds and primates on the southern bank. The centerpiece is the river’s eruption through a narrow gorge at Murchison falls.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL

On Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, You will be warmly welcomed to the Pearl of Africa by our guide who will transfer you to your hotel of choice.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON NATIONAL PARK

Set off to Murchison Falls National park, having a stop at Zziwa Sanctuary for Rhino-tracking. This is the only home for the black and white rhinos since they are being re-introduced in Uganda under the Rhino Fund project.

At first Uganda had these creatures in Murchison falls National Park However, due to a number of factors, including prolonged armed human conflicts, poaching and the mismanagement of their natural habitant, by 1982 both species had been wiped out in the country. Ziwa Rhino sactuary was established in 2005 with a Long term goal to build a sustainable rhinocerous population and relocate them to their original habitant. The activity takes 2-3 hours depending on the movement of rhinos and intrest from the clients.

DAY3: GAME DRIVE AND LUNCH CRUISE ON THE VICTORIA NILE.

Early in Morning, we set off for the morning game drive. This is a beautiful drive across the Savanna grassland. In the open vegetation, you have the chance to sight a number of wildlife such as the cape buffalos, lions, African bush Elephants, different species of antelopes such as the Jackson Hartebeest, Waterbucks, Oribi, Uganda Kobs as you enjoy spotting various bird species such as Black chested Snake Eagle, Bee Eaters, African Fish Eagle, Ground HornBill, gray crown creasted crane which is the Ugandas National bird.

In the Afternooon, go for a boat ride on the Victoria Nile to the greatest and powerful Murchison Falls where the Park derives its name.

Enjoy the falls as you physically watch the way the Nile squeezes through a 7-meter gap.

We then unmount the boat and climb a cliff to the top of the falls for a wonderful and memorable view of the amazing nature and later drive to the Budongo Forest for a night.

DAY 4: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING EXPERIENCE.

Early in the morning, we track the Chimpanzees in their nature habitant. The Chimpazees are one of the great ape native to the forests and savannahs of tropical Africa.

Chimpanzees are highly social, They live in communities of several dozen Animals, led by an alpha male and his coalition of male allies. Research has shown that male and female chimps have individual personalities, with females being more trusting and timid. Grooming is an important part of their social life, helping chimpanzees bond as they remove tick and dirt from one anothers bodies.

The experience takes 2-3 hours depending on the Chimpanzee Movement.

We later proceed back to Kampala.
