Lake Mburo is the smallest game Park in Uganda covering an area of 260 square kilometers and the park has got a magnificent varying elevation which is between 1220m-1828m above the sea level. The park is ideally placed for an overnight break between Kampala and the protected areas of western Uganda. Herbivores in a seasonal wetland valleys and acacia grasslands that surround Lake Mburo include species such as topi, Eland, Impala, and zebra that are rare from most of Uganda’s national parks.

– BOOK THIS SAFARI –

DAY 1: EQUATOR, SHOEBILL AND LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK.

After breakfast at your hotel, our driver guide will meet you and transfer you to Mabamba Wetland which is located on the Northern shores of Lake Victoria.

On Arrival, You will take a motorized canoe through the papyrus reeds that opens up into a flat grassy wetland where a number of Shoe-bills can be seen. Later, we continue our safari having a stop at the Equator line and check in to the Hotel in the evening.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE & LAUNCH CRUISE ON LAKE MBURO.

You will get up early in the morning for a game drive.  Lake Mburo Park is the home of differnt species of antelopes such Elands, Impalas, zebras as the highest population of animals in the park. The park is also a home of different bird species.

In the evening, we shall have a unique launch cruise which normally takes 2 hours with spectacular views of wildlife at the lake shores and acquatic animals like crocodile and hippos near your boat you can also have great opportunities of seeing water like the pied kingfisher, fishing eagle.

DAY 3. NATURE WALK AND DRIVE BACK TO KAMPALA.

Early in the morning, you will get up for a guided nature walk led by an experienced ranger guide. Did you know that the original safaris were walking ssafaris and this is one of the best ways to really experience Africa, You will sence things around you in a way much vivid than you would from a car. It may be a case that you are not as close, but the experience of picking up and playing with, animal bones and poo makes it arguably much richer. Later, we return to the hotel for lunch and setting off to Kampala.
