Kibale Forest National Park.

This largely forested park covers an estimated area of 795 km2, The park stands 1,590m above the sea level on the northern tip and the lowest point is 1,100m on the floor of the Albetine Rift Valley, The park is a home to a total of 70 mammal species best known for a variety of resident primates. An impressive list of over 13 primate species including the chimpanzees- an estimated 1,450 habituated groups can be tracked with the help of experienced ranger guides.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

Arrive anytime at Entebbe National Airport, You will be welcomed by our Company representative guide who will transfer you to the Hotel of your choice.

DAY 2: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK.

After breakfast, we head to Western Uganda passing by a number of Tea plantations. Upon arrival after our lunch, we set  for an afternoon walk through the Bigodi wetlands which harbours a number of bird species such as papurus gonolek, great blue turaco and eight different species of monkeys that include grey-cheeked mangabey, Red Colubus, Red tailed Monkeys. We then later check-in into our accomodation.

DAY 3: CHIMPAZEE TRACKING AND DEPARTURE TO KAMPALA.

  Early morning after our breakfast we drive to kanyanchu visitor center for registration and briefing. You will then go to observe Chimpanzees in their natural habitat. kanyanchus groups are accoustomed to human presence- some have been observed for over 25 years- and the chance of locating them is over 90%. The walk takes 2-3 hours. Later we drive back to Kampala.
