DAY 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kasese town.

Today you will be transferred to Kasese town which is located on the foothills of  Mountains of Moon. You have enough time to rest and prepare to start your trekking activity the next day.

DAY 2: Begin to hike.

Today wake up early to start your hike on the Rwenzori Mountains. Your guide will transfer you to Nyakalengija to receive your briefing and later you begin to climb the Rwenzori mountain ranges. You will hike along River Mubuku through the thick vegetation arriving at the Nyabitaba hut for an overnight.

DAY 3. Hike to John Matte hut.

Have an early breakfast and begin hiking to the John Matte hut for an overnight.

DAY 4. Hike to Bujuku hut.

Today we hike to Bujuku hut for an overnight.

DAY 5: Hike to Elena hut.

Today we ascend Mount Victoria and Mount Speke from the valley with scenic alpine vegetation consisting Giant Groundsels and Lobelia. You will hike through the glaciers to arrive at Elena hut for overnight.

DAY 6: Final ascent to the snowcapped Margherita

Today you hike to Alexander peak and continue on to the highest peak at 5,109 meters above the sea leavel, the famous Margherita peak. Enjoy the picture session at the highest peak before you start your descend to Lake Kitandara for overnight.

DAY 7. Descend to Guy Yeoman hut.

After early breakfast you start a long descent to Guy Yeoman hut.

DAY 8. Descend to Nyabitaba hut.

The last part of the hike drops steeply along the Mubuku River and joins the original route near the Bujuku River to Nyabitaba hut.

DAY 9. Descend to Nyakalengija.

After breakfast you start the last descend to Nyakalengija where you began the journey. You will find your guide waiting for you after which you will proceed to your hotel in Kasese.

DAY 10. End of our hiking safari and transfer to Kampala.

Today after our breakfast we depark to Kampala.
